How to Avoid Task Scams
Red flags to watch and how to report them.
The most common scam is the advance-fee trick: someone promises high earnings but asks you to pay first — a registration fee, an unlock fee, a training fee. Legitimate tasks on GIG DUCK never require payment beyond your one-time minimum deposit, and rewards always flow to you, never from you.
Watch for tasks that ask you to break platform rules: creating multiple accounts, referring yourself, using bots, or posting fake reviews. These are prohibited on GIG DUCK and often violate the social platforms' own policies too. Completing them can get your account banned and your payment voided.
If something feels wrong, report it. Email gigduckbd@gmail.com with the task name and what happened. Every report is reviewed, and reporting a scam protects every other worker on the platform.
