How Escrow Works
Why every job is funded before you start working.
Escrow means the money for a task is set aside before any work begins. When a job poster funds a campaign, that budget is locked. Workers can see the task knowing the reward already exists — not as a promise, but as funds held for them.
When you submit valid proof and it is approved, the reward is released from escrow straight into your wallet balance. If a submission is rejected, the funds stay locked until the dispute is resolved or the task is completed by someone else.
This system protects both sides: workers never work for free on funded tasks, and posters only pay for approved work. It is the reason GIG DUCK can say: do good work, and your payment is already waiting.
