QA Testing Basics for Micro-Workers
Oct 1, 2026 · 8 min
Write bug reports posters love to approve.
App and website testing tasks pay better than simple engagement tasks because they require real attention. The core skill is the bug report: what you did, what you expected, what actually happened. That structure — steps, expected, actual — is what posters pay for.
Be specific. 'The button doesn't work' gets rejected. 'On the checkout page, tapping Pay Now with an empty cart shows a blank screen instead of an error message' gets approved. Include your device and browser, and attach a screenshot or screen recording as proof.
Test like a user, not like a robot. Try the happy path first, then the edges: empty fields, very long text, slow connection. Posters approve reports that find real problems they can fix — and they remember workers who deliver them.
